We acquired the dentistry’s newest laser which detects dental caries disease in a tooth before it is visible, even on the x-ray, allowing us to treat it before it has a chance to extensively damage the tooth. We are also in the possession of a very special diagnostic tool called micro-IDent plus test system, which is a DNA testing system that allows us to identify the specific bacterial species involved with periodontal disease and also to elaborate individualized antimicrobial therapy for every periodontal patient, and to be able to determine if the cause of the infection has been eliminated.
