Meet the Doctor

Dr. Alina Muntean completed tens of hours of intense training courses provided by The Kois Center in Seattle the one and only center that teaches dentists how to provide "Excelence in Dentistry" as a standard of care. The mission of the center is to Enabling motivated dentists to achieve extraordinary levels, expanding both knowledge and application skills in restorative dentistry.” Dr. Muntean joined dental professionals from around the world in this course track which taught dentists also, how to better and more comprehensively diagnose and treat complex dental needs . Dr. Muntean strongly believes that if patients feel comfortable with their dental options and the dental process as a whole, the better overall dental experience they are likely to have. This training allows Dr. Muntean to continue to offer the best dental health solutions currently available!

Dr. Alina Muntean was born in Romania in 1973. She received her first dental degree from Faculty of Dental Medicine, Timisoara, Romania in 2002. At that time she decided to follow her career dream in the United States of America. She earned her second dental degree from University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, in 2007. Since then, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association and Local Dental Society.

Currently, Dr. Muntean resides with her family in Murrells Inlet, and practices high quality dentistry in Surfside Beach.

Meet Dr. Ledbetter

Dunes Dental Services is pleased to announce a new addition to its team: Stephanie Ledbetter, D.D.S.

Dr. Ledbetter has graduated the New York University College of Dentistry with honors. She also holds two BS degrees Cum Laude with honors in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the East Carolina University.
Dr. Ledbetter is a very talented and caring dentist and is now accepting new patients.
